Hello and welcome to The Vibe!

The Vibe is a brand new political website specifically aimed at young people.

But why do young people need their own site when there is plenty of good political comment out there already? Well, the answer is simple. Read any of the papers and the majority of their columnists and opinion formers are over 30 if not over 40.

The Vibe is about providing both a youth perspective on the issues of the day and focussing on the questions and problems that interest and excite our generation.

At The Vibe we are keen on putting our money where our mouths are. The majority of our writers (and currently all of the management) are under 25. This is a project set up for young people by young people.

One of the things that brought The Vibe into existence was the frustration of our writers at spending months doing internships, providing content for free only for the companies we were working for to make money off it.
The Vibe is different, we share our profits with our writers simply based on how popular their articles are.

We’re always on the look out for hot new talent trying to break into the world of journalism, if that’s you why not hit us up? Send us a piece for the site and if we like it we may well put it up!

Most of all, The Vibe is about creating and giving voice to a community. Why not join this community? Post a couple of comments, argue with the writers, debate each other, it’s all good.
